Spiral Bread with Syrup and Peanuts

SERVES 6 | EASY | 40 MINUTES
Things you’ll need:

700g store-bought bread dough (find at grocery store bakeries)
130g butter, melted
45ml (3 tbsp) sugar
Golden syrup, to drizzle
60g roasted and salted peanuts, roughly chopped

Step 1

Preheat your Capri Convection Oven to 180C. Spray the round metal tray with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2

Roll your bread dough into a long “worm” shape of about 4cm in thickness, then, using a sharp knife, slice the dough lengthways so you are left with 2 long strips. Begin with one of the strips and twist it to create a spiral shape on the prepared round metal tray, working from the center of the spiral. Use the remaining spiral to fill the tray, spiraling the dough (refer to the image of the baked bread to give you a better idea).

Step 3

Drizzle the melted butter over the bread, then sprinkle the bread with the sugar. Allow to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Bake in your Capri Convection Oven for 30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Serve warm, drizzled with golden syrup and sprinkled with chopped peanuts.
