Cheesey peri peri burger

SERVES 4 | EASY | 40 MINUTES:

Things you’ll need:

SALSA
2 Corn on the cob
1 Tomato, finely diced
¼ Red onion, finely diced
Salt and pepper, to taste

BURGERS
4 Sesame burger rolls, halved
8 Beef burger patties

TO ASSEMBLE
Mayonnaise
Cheese slices
Barbeque sauce
Rocket leaves

Step 1

For the salsa, heat your 28cm Cast Iron Square Griddle Pan over high heat and chargrill the corn. Slice the corn off the cob and place in a bowl with the tomato, diced red onion and season to taste.

Step 2

Heat a little oil or butter in your 28cm Cast Iron Square Griddle Pan and toast the rolls. Fry the burger patties in the pan until cooked to your liking and season to taste.

Step 3

To assemble, spread a layer of mayonnaise on the base of the burger buns, top with 2 patties, cheese slices, the salsa and rocket leaves. Add an extra drizzle of mayo and barbeque sauce before serving.
