Peri Peri Braai Chicken

SERVES 4 | EASY | 40 MINUTES + 4 HOURS MARINADE TIME:

Things you’ll need:

1.5 kg Spatchcock chicken

MARINADE
2 Fresh chillies, chopped
1 Teaspoon smoked paprika
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 Cup olive oil
Juice & zest of 1 lemon

Step 1

Make the marinade by whizzing all the ingredients in a food processor.

Step 2

Place chicken in a non-reactive dish and cover with the marinade, marinade for 2- 4 hours.

Step 3

To cook, remove chicken from the marinade and wipe with a spatula to remove most of the sauce. Place on preheated Capri Legacy Braai Stand over coals and cook until golden brown and cooked through basting frequently with the remaining sauce. Serve with other braai accompaniments.
