Red Wine and Rosemary Braised Beef Short Ribs


Things you’ll need:

15ml Oil
1 Onion, peeled and diced
4 Garlic cloves, peeled and minced
30ml Fresh rosemary, chopped
15ml Smoked Spanish paprika
800g Beef short ribs
500ml Red wine
5ml Fresh thyme leaves, chopped
500ml Boiling water
2 Beef stock cubes
Salt and pepper, to taste

Step 1

To your 24cm Lime Green Cast Iron Casserole, add the oil and onion and fry over medium heat until soft, about 10 minutes. Add all of the remaining ingredients to the pot and stir to combine.

Step 2

Place the lid on the pot and allow to simmer gently on the stove for 3 hours or until the meat is very tender and falls off the bones.

Step 3

Serve warm with rice or mashed potatoes, if you like.
