ABOUT CAPRI
1966

Capri was founded in 1966 in the heart of Randburg, South Africa, by Gert Brits and Willah Brits (Marais). The name Capri was decided on by Willah after they visited the beautiful Capri Islands in Italy.

Willah bought fabric and designed her own patterns and linen while Gert sold the household linen out of the boot of his car for a salary of R15 /month.
