Capri will not sell your personal information to third parties and will only make it available to third parties which are involved in the execution of your order. Our employees and third parties contracted by us are obligated to respect the confidentiality of your data. Capri Exclusive Homeware (Pty) Ltd (CAPRI), (including its owners, directors, employees, suppliers, internet service providers, partners, affiliates and agents, shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability of any nature incurred by whomever and resulting from:

c) inability to access the CAPRI website;

d) inability to access websites linked to the CAPRI website; or

e) content available on the CAPRI website;

f) services available from the CAPRI website.


The CAPRI website is supplied on an "as is" basis and has not been compiled to meet the User's individual requirements. It is the responsibility of the User to satisfy himself or herself, prior to entering into this agreement with CAPRI that the content available from and through the CAPRI website meets the User's individual requirements and is compatible with the User's computer hardware and/or software. Nothing on this site should be construed as solicitation, offer, advice, recommendation, or any other service to acquire legal or financial advice. The content and information contained on this site are provided for users informational and educational convenience only. Nothing on this site should be relied on and users should consult with a legal or financial advisor prior to making any decisions.


CAPRI does not make any warranties or representations that content and services available from the CAPRI website will in all cases be true, correct or free from any errors. In terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act - Act 2 of 2000
Section 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, No. 108 of 1996 provides:

(1) Everyone has the right of access to:

(a) any information held by the state; and

(b) any information that is held by another person and that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights.


The Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 (“the Act”), was enacted to give effect to section 32 of the constitution that is giving effect to the constitutional right of access to any information held by the State and any information that is held by another person and that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights. Where a request is made in terms of this Act, the private or public body to which the request is made is obliged to release the information, except where the Act expressly provides that the information must not be released. The Act sets out the requisite procedural issues attached to such request.


Who may request information in terms of the act

Any person, who requires information for the exercise or protection of any rights, may request information from a private body. Section 50 of the Act states that:


(1) A requester must be given access to any record of a private body if:

(a) that record is required for the exercise or protection of any rights;

(b) that person complies with the procedural requirements in this Act relating to a request for access to that record; and

(c) access to that record is not refused in terms of any ground for refusal contemplated in Chapter 4 of this Part.
